1. Information We Process

Cleanse AI may process the following categories of information in order to provide its features:

• Photo and video library metadata such as timestamps, media type, duration, dimensions, and album grouping information.
• On-device analysis results used to identify duplicate photos, similar photos, similar videos, screenshots, Live Photos, and other media categories.
• Private Vault content that you explicitly import into the app’s protected storage space.
• Purchase and subscription status information required to unlock premium functionality.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to operate Cleanse AI and provide its core features, including to:

• Analyze your photo and video library so the app can surface cleanup suggestions and media categories.
• Create color cards, extract palettes, and display related metadata for the Photo Colors feature.
• Store selected media in Private Vault and enable passcode or biometric-based access control.
• Support subscriptions, restore purchases, and protect against abuse or technical failures.
• Provide customer support, app maintenance, and feature improvements.

3. Photo Library and Device Permissions

Cleanse AI requests access only to the permissions needed for its features, such as Photos access for scanning and organizing media, and biometric authentication for Private Vault unlock if you choose to enable it.

You can manage permissions in iOS Settings at any time. If you revoke access, some features may stop working or show limited results.

4. Storage and Security

Certain media analysis may occur on-device. Private Vault items are intended to remain inside the app’s protected storage flow, guarded by your chosen passcode and supported device security features.

No security method is perfect, so please use a strong device passcode and keep your operating system up to date.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared only when necessary, such as:

• With payment or platform providers to manage subscriptions and in-app purchases.
• With service providers that help operate app infrastructure, analytics, attribution, or customer support.
• When required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights and safety.

6. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Media you manage within your own device or photo library remains under your control.

7. Children’s Privacy

Cleanse AI is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that personal information from a child under 13 has been provided through the service, we will take reasonable steps to review and remove it where appropriate.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material updates will be reflected by revising the effective date on this page.
